Brunel Bust Ornament

Brunel Bust Ornament remains the most famous engineer in British history; famed for his bridges and dockyards, tunnels, steam ships and Great Western Railway. This detailed bust has been hand-sculpted from gypsum plaster using photographs and descriptions of the time. The base features some of the great engineers master pieces including the Box Tunnel, Clifton Suspension Bridge, a steam locomotive and the bow of the SS Great Britain. Etched around the base reads – ‘The Man Who Built The World’ – the title of the 2005 book by Steven Brindle, as well as the great engineers full name ‘Isambard Kingdom Brunel’. A wonderful decorative piece or gift for anyone who has an interest in engineering or British history.
